Remote work in Kuta Lombok
Kuta has become a popular base for people who work online: it is calmer than Bali, the beach is close and there is a growing community of remote workers. This guide covers the practical side, from wifi to the best months to come.

Why Kuta works for remote workers
The town is small enough to walk, there are coworking spaces and cafés that welcome laptops, and the routine is easy: work in the morning, surf or swim in the afternoon, dinner in town. Lombok International Airport is about 30 minutes away by car, with flights to Bali, Jakarta and other cities.
Working from Villa Lulets
The villa was set up for guests who need to get work done.

- Air conditioning in both bedrooms

Connectivity tips
Even with good wifi, it is wise to have a backup for important calls. A local SIM or eSIM with a data package lets you use your phone as a hotspot. Short power or connection cuts can happen in Lombok, as in much of Indonesia, so keep your laptop charged before key meetings.
Time zone and best months
Lombok uses Central Indonesia Time (WITA, UTC+8), the same as Bali and Singapore. That makes calls with Asia and Australia easy, mornings work for Europe’s evening and evenings for Europe’s morning.
The dry season runs roughly from May to October, with sunny days and the busiest months for travel. From around November to March there is more rain, usually in short heavy showers, and the island is greener and quieter.
